1. How do I book my child into a free trial class?
Please contact the gym directly through our contact form, letting us know your child’s age and availability. Our team will recommend the most suitable class and arrange their free trial.
2. Do I need any previous Jiu Jitsu experience?
Not at all. We welcome complete beginners, and our coaches will make sure you’re introduced to Jiu Jitsu at the right level.
3. How can I book a £15 private intro class?
Our £15 private intro classes are for complete beginners aged 16+. You can book directly through our website by creating an account and selecting an available intro session that works for you.
4. If I have previous Jiu Jitsu experience, do I need to do an intro class?
No. If you already have Jiu Jitsu experience, please contact us directly and let us know a little about your previous training. We will get you booked into either a Beginner or Intermediate class, depending on your experience.
5. What should I wear to my trial or intro class? Do I need a Gi?
For all trial and intro classes, simply wear comfortable gym clothing. You will be lent a Gi (kimono) for the session, so there is no need to purchase one beforehand. This applies to both adults and children.
6. What age can children start Jiu Jitsu?
Children can start training with us from 4 years old and above. Contact us with your child’s age and availability and we’ll recommend the most suitable class.
7. Can I come and watch a class before joining?
Yes. If you’d like to visit the academy before booking an intro or trial, contact us and our team can arrange a suitable time.
8. Are your classes suitable for both recreational and competitive students?
Yes. We welcome everyone from complete beginners looking for a new hobby and a great way to keep fit, through to experienced students who want to train and compete seriously.
9. How much does membership cost?
We have different membership options depending on age and how frequently you would like to train. Our team will talk you through the available options following your intro or trial class.
